Our Administration

Dear Duluth Families,

Duluth High School is a place of opportunity, joy, and inclusivity, where students are loved and challenged to become the best versions of themselves. I am so honored to serve as principal of this amazing school.

My teaching career began in Miami, Florida. When I moved to Georgia in 2006, I began teaching students with disabilities at Norcross High School. In 2009, I stepped into school leadership as an Assistant Principal at Summerour Middle School. When my daughters, Max and Ceci, started high school, I made the leap right along with them. The stars aligned, and I had the good fortune of landing here at Duluth High School, where I spent six wonderful years leading the 9th Grade Academy.

In 2019, I briefly served on the founding administrative team at McClure Health Science High School. But in February 2020, I returned home to the Duluth cluster to begin my first principalship at Duluth Middle School. After all, once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat! The decision to return to Duluth High School as principal this year was not an easy one—my middle school community had truly become an extension of my family. But as we near the end of the school year, I’m filled with gratitude for the opportunity to now serve all of our cluster's students—from the youngest learners to those preparing to walk across the graduation stage in just a few weeks.

I’m constantly in awe of the care, dedication, and excellence our teachers and staff demonstrate every day. I’m equally blown away by the talent, curiosity, and kindness our students show at every turn. At Duluth High School, we believe every student can succeed because of four core values:

• We know learning takes time, so we create hope.
